The course is a scenic, mostly downhill, point to point 4 mile run on the East Peoria River Trail of Illinois.

Transportation is provided from the Fondulac Park District Administration Center, 201 Veterans Drive, East Peoria, IL. to the starting line on Pleasant Hill Road from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. Runners may drive to the starting line although no transportation is provided to the starting line after the race. Restrooms in a warm building will be available for use at the starting line. A gear check wagon for warm-up clothes will be available also.

Walk starts at the intersection of Matheny Road and the River Trail. Walkers will begin walking when unloaded. Walkers bus will leave the park district administration building at 8:15am.

No dogs allowed on course

$40 pre-registration includes a hooded, long sleeved with thumb holes technical running shirt.  Shirts and sizes are limited so make sure you register early.  A limited number of shirts may be available at packet pickup.

$25 for run or walk only, no shirt.

Entry fee is non-refundable.

Registration will be available at packet pick up on Friday, November 28th from 4 to 6 pm and on race day Saturday, November 29th from 7 until 8:15am.

Awards for the top 3 overall male and female finishers. Top 3 overall Master's, top 1 place for Grand Masters, and top 1 place for Senior Grand Master's male and female. A minimum of three awards per age group. In age groups with a large number of pre-registered participants there will be additional awards. No awards in the 2-mile walk. Awards will be presented at the post race party.

Age divisions: 13 and younger, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Mickie’s at 1051 E. Washington, East Peoria, IL will have pizza ready for all runners and their supporters and beer to those 21 years of age or older starting at 9:45 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
