Frequently Asked Questions! |
-Why do we have able bodied people in wheelchairs?
What we have found from the experience is that people who have the opportunity to play in a wheelchair learn from the experience. Not only have many people learned that they can adjust and very quickly learn new skills to accommodate the loss of the use of their legs, they also have stated that they have a new appreciation for the challenges faced by people who use wheelchairs. We also believe that it makes the wheelchair less intimidating, opening up new opportunities for people to connect with folks they encounter who use wheelchairs.
-Who are our sponsors? As of the date of this printing they are…
