Where and when is the Global Steps 'N Salutes Green Beret 5K?
The Global Steps n’ Salutes Green Beret 5K can be run “VIRTUALLY” and at the day, time, and place selected by each participant beginning on your registration date through Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Can I walk the Global Steps 'N Salutes Green Beret 5K?
Yes, the event is walker friendly. Walkers and runners of all ability levels are encouraged to participate.

Are baby joggers and strollers allowed in the Global Steps 'N Salutes Green Beret 5K?
Yes, baby joggers and strollers are allowed for the Global Steps n’ Salutes Green Beret 5K.

How and when can I get my 2025 Global Steps 'N Salutes Green Beret 5K commemorative shirt?
Shirts will be mailed periodically and/or shortly after their date of registration to those participants who selected the MAIL SHIRT option at the time of their registration.

May I switch my registration to another person?
Yes. Please contact Green Beret Foundation at fundraise@greenberetfoundation.org to switch registration.

What is the cancellation policy?
There is no cancellation policy. No refunds or deferrals are allowed.

Will I receive a finisher’s medal?
Each registered participant has the OPTION to purchase a finished medal during the registration process. The medal will be sent along with the shirt after registration.

Does the money from this event benefit a special cause?
Funds raised this year will be used to support retired and active-duty Green Berets and their families dealing with long-term physical and mental injuries, illnesses, loss, and transition into civilian life, ill, and/or disabled Green Berets as well as the unique needs of their caregivers.

Funds raised this year will be used to support retired and active-duty Green Berets and their families dealing with long-term physical and mental injuries, illnesses, loss, and transition into civilian life, ill, and/or disabled Green Berets as well as the unique needs of their caregivers.

The Green Beret Foundation is a national veteran charity and the only organization with the specific mission to fill any gaps in the Green Beret and their family’s lives during and after deployment. The Green Beret Foundation invests 84 cents of every dollar into its five core programs that provide emergent, immediate, and ongoing support to cover the costs of tools, resources, and healthcare not provided by the Department of Defense or Veterans Affairs.

Can I make a donation to the Green Beret Foundation?
Donate through the registration site for the Global Steps ’N Salutes Green Beret 5K. This donation can be made without registering for the event.
