Course Description
You’ve probably heard about those crazy mud runs and obstacle course races, and now is the chance for you and your friends to give it a try! This Second Annual Vineyard Trail Run is a 5k course through the lovely vineyard at Adam Puchta Winery. You will be surrounded by the beautiful hills of Missouri River Valley in this challenging course, which features several hills and obstacles as you run through the grape vines. Immerse yourself in the pastoral beauty of mid-Missouri wine country, learn about its rich wine-making history, and, of course savor local wines after you run!

Post Party
Bring a change of clothes and stay for the Vineyard Trail Run post-party at Adam Puchta Winery. Enjoy live music, wine tastings, cold wine, and beer!. Adam Puchta Winery’s Bistro will also be open serving an amazing assortment of foods. The fun continues with a unique vendor fair that features some of the local businesses. All of these activities can be enjoyed by listening to live music of the Steve Leslie band from noon until 4 p.m.

Spectators
Bring your friends to cheer you on! There is no fee for spectators.

Proceeds
Proceeds from the Vineyard Trail Run will benefit the Hermann Fitness Source, a division of the Hermann Area District Hospital (HADH). HADH is a non-profit, community-owned hospital system, and its subsidiary, the Hermann Fitness Source, provides a venue in which all community members can reap the benefits of wellness. The services of the Fitness Source include, but aren’t limited to: reduced cost or complementary membership for seniors, complimentary membership for those engaged in physical rehabilitation at HADH, specialty equipment designed for use by handicapped or injured individuals, a comprehensive Silver Sneakers speciality program, and full complement of equipment and services for the community at large.
