The Venture for each Viking participant will begin and end at the Lakeview High School track. Both accurately measured, out & back courses will take you on mostly flat terrain to the scenic Two Lakes Trail that meanders through beautiful tree-lined Lake North Park & Loup Park. The route will be clearly marked and a plentiful supply of volunteers will guide you on your venture. The fun walk/run will be held on the Lakeview High School track.

7:00 AM - 7:45 AM - Packet Pick-Up (Lakeview HS Stadium)
9:00 AM - 10K and 5K Start Time
Fun Run will start as soon as 10K/5K participants have cleared the starting area.
10:00 AM - Course will close to runners/walkers.
10:00 AM - Awards Ceremony at Lakeview HS Stadium (approximately)

Early packet pick-up is encouraged.

Age Groups:
14 & under; 15 -19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over

Overall male and female race winners receive a winner's trophy. Overall 2nd and 3rd place male and female race winners receive a special winner's medal. All age division 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners receive a special winner's medal.

No awards or medals will be given for the fun walk/run.

• Those walking the race should line up toward the rear of the starting line. Those with baby strollers will be asked to line up behind all other participants.
  
• Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, or animals are not allowed in the race.
  
• Athletic training staff will be provided.
  
• Spectators are welcome and should be seated in the bleacher area of the Lakeview High School Stadium.
  
• Post race festivities will be held at the Lakeview High School Stadium Pavilion. Refreshments will be served to all race participants. Concessions available to all spectators.
  
• Concessions will be available to all spectators.
  

The funds raised at this event will be used for the Lakeview Education Foundation scholarship program and other special projects that will benefit all students of the Lakeview Community Schools.
