The Course

Prairie Pines Nature Preserve, 112th and Adams just East of Lincoln, NE

Course map

Youth Mile Run - Children 12 and Under

This event features a one-mile youth cross country fun run under the Pines for children 12 and under. Runners are encouraged to run without an adult. However, an adult is allowed to run with their child free of charge. Starts at 6 PM, prior to the 4 mile run/walk event.

Awards

Gift certificates to top 3 women and men in the 4 mile.
Gift certificate to top girl and boy in Youth Mile.
Certificate prize to all the Youth Mile Run winners.

The After Party

Sponsored by locally-sourced vendors, refuel and hydrate with good food and specialty brews. kick-back, relax, and enjoy the live music featuring Brian Barnacle & Friends under the pines. Purchase food and drink with cash or card at the event. Please bring your ID.

Our Mission- All proceeds benefit the Prairie Pines Partners

"Sustain a habitat for all living things through conservation, education and experience to promote a lasting connection with the natural world and its resources."

Race proceeds will be used to help fund a connector trail to Lincoln, that will allow direct, safe access to one of the Lincoln areas least known natural areas and its hiking trails. The Prairie Pines Nature Preserve provides wildlife habitat in its woodland and grassland and human nature experience and education. prairiepines.org/

Parking

Parking is available at Prairie Pines. You are encouraged to carpool. Enter at south entry off 112th St. Watch for parking volunteers
