5K Race Divisions: (separate male and female age groups) 8 & under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over
5K Race Awards: (ChronoTrack -Timed) Overall, Masters Winner, medals to top 3 male and female finishers in each age group.
1 Mile Fun Run: (Not Officially Timed) All ages may participate. Awards go to top 3 male and female finishers 12 & under.
1 Mile Fun Run Awards: Medals for the top 3 boys and girls & participation ribbons to all Fun-Runners 12 & under. This is a fun run, and times will not be recorded.
ChronoTrack Timing: To be included in the results and to be eligible for an award, you must wear the ChronoTrack D-Tag properly on your shoe. Your D-Tag will be attached to your bib. Remove it and follow the instructions printed on the tag itself.

About the Event |
As we enter into our seventh year with "Race for the Children," we are proud to say that last year's race was a tremendous success. Since its inception, our race has contributed over $25,000 to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and the Lewisville Education Foundation.
The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions, as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. It strives to improve the care of children worldwide through innovative research and teaching programs by training physicians from around the world.
The efforts of the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children to help these kids, without ever charging a single penny, is certainly worthy of our support. For more information about the TSRHC and the LEF, you may visit their web sites at: www.tsrhc.org. & www.lisdef.org.
