Nestled in the heart of Rock Island, Black Hawk State Park is a city-dweller's answer to getting outside! Nicely-groomed trails and beautiful scenery all within a short drive from just about anywhere in the Quad Cities. We will be enjoying a beautiful fall sunset hike.
The park is located at 15th Street and Black Hawk Road in Rock Island, IL. Please park at the Singing Bird Lodge (1510 - 46th Avenue, Rock Island, IL ) parking lot.
Bring a flashlight or headlamp as it will be dark for a portion of the hike. This would be a great event to bring a friend to that is interested in joining our club! Hot dogs, marshmallows and roasting sticks will be available for a post-hike roast. Consider bringing a thermos of coffee or hot chocolate!
