TATUR's Summer Poker Run

Tatur and RunnersWorld Tulsa proudly present the 6th Annual TATUR 5 Mile Poker Run.

When: Saturday, July, 9, 2011 7am

Where:Tulsa Fairgrounds (21st & Louisville)

Why: This is a fundraising event to help with the costs of organizing the FREE RunnersWorld training runs.

How: This will be an out and back course.. Run/walk one mile get a poker card, go two miles get your 2nd card, go to the 2.5 mile turnaround point and get card number three. Your fourth card will be at mile three. Fifth card at mile four and then you cross the finish line. The best poker hand gets first pick at the gift table. Second best hand gets second pick and so on. If you are not up to running five miles you can still compete. Several area runners will incorporate the Poker Run into their long run of the day.

Cost: Since this is a fundraiser we are requiring a minimum $5 ante (Donation).

How Many:We still have plenty of spots availible !! We are limiting this event to the first 300 entrants who sign up.

Prizes: Each year we have lots of high quality technical running fabric gear (shirts, skirts, jackets, hats, etc) that we give away to Poker Run winners. We will also have gift certificates, free race entries, and many other great give-aways. You will not believe how much great stuff we have to give away.
