The Fifth Annual Monarch Migration Fun Run |
The 5th Annual Monarch Migration Fun Run will benefit the Friends of the Wapsi Center. This self-timed 5k and (New!) 1-mile trail run will take you through the upland and bottomland forests and the prairies of the Wapsi River Center. Check-in for the run starts at 8:30 A.M. There will be one wave starting at 9:00 A.M. for both distances. This run goes till 11:00 A.M. This will give you plenty of time to run or walk the trails.
The check-in table and run start/finish will be on our main prairie near the observatory. Registration includes a t-shirt and refreshments. Registration must be done by August 24, 2025 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
This is a family-friendly event followed by The Monarch Festival which will take place immediately after the race, 11:00AM - 2:30PM!
