Lovejoy Leopards, Inc. invites you to join us for a morning run or walk in the country surrounding Lovejoy High School in Lucas, TX, just east of Allen, TX. The 1K Fun Run will start at 8:00 AM followed by the 5K at 8:30 AM. Our certified 5K course is a fast course and takes you through scenic countryside that includes a pond and open grassy areas.

Or, if you prefer, you can choose our 1K Fun Run. The 5K will be chip timed by Chip-2-Chip Race Timing.

After running, enjoy a pancake breakfast that is included in the race entry fee. Breakfast for non-race participants may buy tickets at the door ($7 for adults, $5 children ages 6-12 & children 5 years and younger eat free).

Both the 1K Fun Run and the 5K Race begin and end behind the courtyard of Lovejoy High School. Most of the 5K race is a scenic run along Rock Ridge Road. The 5K is a certified and fast course!

Lovejoy Athletic Booster Clubs. Lovejoy Leopards, Inc. is the governing body of 15 athletic booster clubs.

All proceeds will equally benefit these 15 athletic booster clubs: Baseball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Football, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Track/Cross County, Robotics, Swimming, Golf, Sports Medicine, and Wrestling.

Represent your school! There will be a competition between Lovejoy Elementary, Hart Elementary, Puster Elementary and Sloan Creek Intermediate Schools for the most student participation.

The school with the most participation will earn the Country Run Trophy to display on their campus!
