YMCA 5K - Evansville Half Marathon Warm-Up Run

The course will begin heading west on Court Street, across from the YMCA parking lot. Follow Court Street to a left turn onto the Esplanade. Participants will stay on the river side of the Esplanade to Water Works Road, where they will loop back onto the Esplanade heading North to Main Street. Make a Right turn onto Main Street. Follow Main Street to a left hand turn onto 3rd Street. Then go one block to a right turn onto Sycamore Street. Follow Sycamore across MLK Blvd. to Main Street. Stay on Main Street to a hairpin left turn onto Vine street. The finish is on Vine Street between MLK Blvd.and 6th St.

Participants may pick up their race packets the Friday before each event from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or on race day. All "warm-up" packet pick ups will take place at the YMCA.

Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female runners and walkers. Age group running trophies will be awarded to the top three participants in the male and female age groups after taking out overall winners. All fully paid participants will receive a commemorative shirt. The awards ceremony will be held at the YMCA gym immediately following each event.

There will be combined scoring for participants entered in all three events.

The entire field will be timed. Post race results will be available at the YMCA as well as on the YMCA website at ymca.evansville.net/ immediately following each event. Participants will receive results via email if an email address is provided on your entry form.
