Portion of Proceeds to Benefit

Community Services Consortium (CSC) has a vision is to end poverty. Our services focus on essential day-to-day survival, such as food, housing, and access to health care; as well as developing new skills that lead to independence through education, training, and work readiness. Whether people need help keeping the heat on today or want help planning for their career of tomorrow, CSC is here to help.

We believe that every family should have access to a stable home, nutritious food, quality education and training, and a job that pays a living wage. We also realize these things can be hard to get without some help along the way. Since 1980, CSC has been part of a state and national network helping people and communities to thrive.

CSC is helping people and changing lives right here in our own communities. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to CSC. Together we can help people and change lives!

FAQ's

1) How much does registration cost?
Early registration: $90 per person. 2/16/26 - 4/16/26
Regular registration: $100 per person. 4/17/26 - 6/15/26
Late registration: $120 per person.  6/16/26 - 7/7/26
Registration closes 1 week before the event on July 7, 2026
**Note: Registration is per person, not per team.
The relay has 14 legs, and teams can range from 2 to 7 people, depending on how often each person wants to run. Your entry includes a safe course, timing, finisher medals, socks, and food & drinks at the finish.

2) Do walking teams complete the entire course?
No. Walking teams cover Legs 1-4 and 11-14, totaling 33 miles instead of 67. Most walking teams have four members to complete these eight legs. For more details, check the B2K Course Manual.

3) What is leap-frogging?
Leap-frogging allows a team to finish sooner by having two runners complete two different legs at the same time. To do this, you must get permission from the race director (before the relay or via ham radio operators during the race).
Teams must record individual leg times on the Scorecard for accurate results.
Running teams may leap-frog with permission.
Walking teams may NOT leap-frog.
Leap-frogging is only allowed starting at Leg 9. Earlier roads are mostly gravel, and two-way traffic causes delays. Additionally, starting too soon may put runners ahead of staffed exchange points.

4) Isn't leap-frogging unfair?
Not at all! Leap-frogging helps teams that might otherwise struggle to finish within the 13-hour time limit. It doesn't shorten the course or reduce overall team time-it just allows more participants to cross the finish line and enjoy the post-race festivities.
